Year 1:

Knowledge & Awareness


  • Attend PDP+ workshops

PDP+: Our Signature Leadership and Teamwork Development Track

PDP+ (Professional Development - Practiced) was designed to cultivate real-world, high-impact people skills.  It evolved naturally over time to spark and nourish teamwork and leadership capacity within FPAAZ — and it works.

Through our teamwork, FPAAZ has:

  • Advocated for and passed impactful legislation in Arizona

  • Influenced national financial planning learning methods

  • Impacted CFP Board of Standards work on Sanctions Guidelines, Disciplinary Proceedings, our Code & Standards

  • Merged what were two chapters into one Statewide Chapter

  • Convened and led statewide conversations on Financial Literacy

  • Educated thousands of CFP® Professionals on ethics and best practices

  • Redefined the chapter nonprofit business model and reframed stakeholder relationships with/to chapter members
